- Perhaps if Somalia's law-abiding citizens were able to possess fully automatic firearms and handguns without a license, the country would be safe enough to visit. As everywhere else, criminals and killers already have those same weapons, yet those who obey the law are rendered defenseless.

- Gun-ban extremists have obviously succeeded in their divide-and-conquer strategy, splintering pro-gun groups into warring factions that despise one another. I recommend that all American patriots arm themselves as comprehensively as possible, while it is still possible.

- What do you expect from the company that brought us the Valdez disaster? BP one-upped them with the Deepwater Horizon catastrophe, so perhaps they're trying to regain the crown. It's only a minor trickle in comparison, but I'll give them points for novelty.
